The firm
Powell Forster was set up in March 1997 by Deirdre Forster and Tim Powell. We are both experienced solicitors who have lived and worked in South London for more than 20 years. We are specialists in leaseholder disputes, housing law and personal injury law. We also offer mediation services for legal, community and other disputes.
Our office is based at the Eurolink Centre, 49 Effra Road, Brixton, London SW2, a ten-minute walk from Brixton underground station. We run an approachable and friendly firm. We give our clients a very personal service and try to be easy to contact. Our work has been independently peer reviewed and assessed as "excellent" which is the highest possible level. We are retained by a leading university to advise on student housing law.
Most of our work is carried out in the Lambeth and Wandsworth County Courts in South London, in the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal and in the High Court in Central London.
